Kerry Austin

Licensing Collection Manager

Kerry works in licensing department providing advice and support to clients, ensuring their schools hold the correct licenses administered by CEFM. She joined us in 2016 following her role as a Senior account manager role at one of London’s major courier companies where she had day to day dealings with their top clients.

Catherine Burnett

Education Advisor

Prior to joining CEFM, Catherine has had over 32 years’ experience of the education sector with over 20 years of secondary leadership, 8 years as headteacher in two secondary sector schools. During that time Catherine worked extensively with all stakeholders attached to schools, families, social services, safeguarding, finance, legal and all aspects of human resourcing. Additional roles included chairing secondary heads groups and sitting on local authority safeguarding boards. Catherine is also a lead inspector for Denominational inspections.

Vincenzo Casamassa

Consultant

Vincenzo is a qualified (non-practising) solicitor with 10 years post qualification experience.

Having worked in both private practice and for Birmingham City Council he has extensive experience dealing with complex discrimination claims including equal pay claims. He has significant experience of resolving disputes with alternative dispute resolution and of settling commercially sensitive matters without the need to litigate at tribunal or court. Vincenzo supports on a broad range of HR matters including reorganisations and redundancies, grievances, disciplinaries and sickness absence management for CEFM.

Caroline Conquest

Education Advisor

Caroline Conquest is an experienced Human Resources (HR) professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Caroline’s previous experience includes HR leadership posts in education, the NHS and financial services, where she has provided both strategic and operational HR support. She had nine years’ experience as a school governor and has been a Trustee of a small, but growing, multi-academy Trust since 2013.

Christine Dickson

Managing Director

Christine began her career as a history teacher before training as an accountant and becoming a partner in a leading firm of chartered accountants. She is recognised as a national expert in school and academy funding and finance and is Chair of a MAT. She has also written extensively for the sector, including publications for the ICAEW and CEFM’s own information website.

Jason Foster

Sales and HR Director

Jason has a post graduate qualification in employment law through the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is Sales and Personnel Director at CEFM. He is a regular speaker on CEFM seminars and has practical experience of dealing with diverse personnel issues.

Suzanne Hamilton

Consultant

Suzanne has a degree in law and has completed the Legal Practice Course. She also has a post-graduate diploma in personnel management and is a member of the CIPD. Suzanne has over 10 years’ HR experience working in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining CEFM, Suzanne worked as an HR manager in a London comprehensive school, an HR partner in a multi-academy trust and worked in the employee relations team at a large NHS hospital. Suzanne is also a governor at her local secondary school, where her three sons attend. She is the portfolio holder for SEND and DA students

Beverley Martin

CRM / Consultancy Manager

Beverley has worked in an HR capacity for over 23 years, 11 of which with CEFM. She obtained a qualification in The Institute of Personnel Management and is our CRM/Consultancy Manager

Nick Pearson

Systems Manager

Nick joined the company in 1995 and is a Business IT graduate. He is responsible for our internal IT systems as well as the CEFM and CEFMi websites.

Amanda Prout

Sales

Amanda joined the team in 2017 and is the first point of contact for new business and existing clients.

Barbara Roberts

Licensing Administrator

Barbara has a strong financial background, having experience within office environments. She is the newest member of the CEFM team, having joined in 2019, after a successful accounts position at Hovis for two years. Her key role at CEFM includes working in the licensing department.

Laura Sugrue

Consultant

Laura previously worked as an Employment Solicitor in both the private and public sectors. Laura joined CEFM following extensive experience with Birmingham City Council, having been a member of their in-house employment team for 5 years working with both the Employment and Education teams. Laura specialises in restructures and redundancies, complex long-term absences, disciplinary proceedings, safeguarding issues and disability and reasonable adjustments issues. Laura is also an accredited workplace mediator.

Steve Willé

Head of Licensing

Stephen has worked in the licensing department since 2001. He has an in-depth knowledge of all licences required by schools and the FE sector. He has risen through the company to become Head of Licensing overseeing the day-to-day operations of all the copyright licences and helplines, for schools and local authorities, operated by CEFM.
